Three Broomsticks
Three Broomsticks is styled after the restaurant featured in the Harry Potter series and delivers a totally immersive experience. Located in Universal’s Islands of Adventure™, top picks from the menu include the half roast chicken and the excellent fish and chips, served with a light and crispy batter surrounding succulent white fish.
The frozen butterbeer is a great choice during the summer months when midday temperatures will leave you sweltering. There is an outdoor terrace which fills up quickly but offers an amazing view of Hogsmeade village. The restaurant is connected to The Hog’s Head, the famous pub from the Harry Potter series.
The Simpsons Fast Food Blvd
Ever wondered what it would be like to sample a Krusty Burger or enjoy an ice-cold Duff from Moe’s Tavern, just like in The Simpsons? Well, now you can at the Springfield Fast Food Blvd.
There are about 9 eateries located in Welcome To Springfield, Home of The Simpsons™ food-court zone in Universal Studios Florida, including Italian pasta and pizza at Luigi’s, seafood at The Flying Dutchman and chicken from Cletus’ Chicken Shack. The whole experience is very well done and fans of the show will notice so many small details from past episodes.
Bice Ristorante
Commanding exquisite views of the lovely Harbor Piazza of the Portofino Bay Hotel, Bice (pronounced Bee-Chay) is a wonderful traditional Italian ristorante. Founded by Beatrice “Bice” Ruggeri in Milan in 1926, this Orlando location of the family trattoria will take you on a romantic journey through Northern Italy and you won’t even need a passport!
The Old World décor is elegant, with towering windows and lovely terraces overlooking the piazza, and the waterways beyond. The service is exceptional, with an extremely attentive (and well-dressed!) wait staff.
Pasta is hand-rolled on the premises each day, and unsurprisingly, there is an extensive wine list so vino lovers can share a toast to amore. And any restaurant with a dedicated pastry chef is a clue that you should save room for dessert!
The Cowfish
This sushi and burger bar in Universal’s CityWalk™ offers fusion food and a family-friendly ambience. Among the must-try items on the menu is the ‘Burgushi’, a combination of a burger and sushi using hamburger ingredients to make sushi rolls – it’s a unique dish found only at The Cowfish, to our knowledge. The huge kid’s menu at The Cowfish ensures diners of any age will find something to enjoy.
Lombard’s Seafood Grille
Lombard’s Seafood Grille is a go-to restaurant when you are looking for a fancy table service meal in Universal Studios Florida™ theme park. The lobster rolls are magnificent, but there’s plenty of seafood, and meat dishes to choose from. The décor is elegant but that’s not to say young ones won’t enjoy the dining experience here.
The aquarium is always a point of interest and the views are wonderful too. If you want to dine and watch the Cinematic Spectacular in the evening you have to book a special dinner package but you must do it well in advance – as in months!
Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville
Kick back, relax and enjoy the island life while listening to a live band cranking out Jimmy Buffett cover songs and rock hits. Try a Cheeseburger in Paradise, grilled fish tacos, tasty coconut shrimp, tropical key lime pie or the amazing chocolate hurricane dessert. There’s also an erupting margarita-filled volcano at the aptly named Volcano Bar where you can choose from 10 different margaritas!
Open: Mon-Thu 11 am-10 pm and Fri-Sun 11 am-12 am
Bubba Gump Shrimp Co
Straight out of the iconic movie, Forrest Gump, the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co offers up tasty shrimp dishes plus a wide variety of Southern favorites, including baby back ribs, fresh fish and homemade desserts.
